Answer:
I’ve been okay. Wbu love? I’ve missed talking to you as well :)
Everyone sees cigarettes as destruction, I see them as a sort of metaphor to everything. Before they’re lit, they’re perfect, no harm is done to them, but once that flame is brought up to the end, they start to burn away, until nothing is left but ash and the memory of something that once was. Relationships start out like an unlit cigarette, waiting for something to spark and that’s when we start giving it our all, but some people don’t do that, they just burn up and burn out and then they’re gone forever, just like cigarettes, all that’s left is the ash, the small remnants of something that was once so great. They’re gone and there’s nothing to be done about it, yet we still want more, which is why any smoker goes out and buys more cigarettes. They yearn for that moment in which they will light the cigarette and feel safe again. Yes it’s bad for their health, but it’s the only thing they’re sure of. And again, that’s how relationships work, you get into one and you just want it to keep going, even if it’s bad, even if it’s destroying you, you want more, because once it’s over, you’re completely lost without that person, so you get angry at the world, just like a deprived smoker.
The point is, everyone needs something to get them through the day, and if it’s a cigarette, then so be it.
